Manchester United and Arsenal target Julian Draxler will not be leaving Schalke this summer, Goal.com reports.
Arsenal made an enquiry concerning the young German last week, but have now firmly focused all of their attentions on Mesut Ozil, as they look to bring the Real Madrid playmaker to the Emirates before the transfer deadline.
Draxler, who at 19-years-old is considered to be a brilliant prospect for the future, had admitted earlier on this summer that he would leave Schalke if a suitable offer from one of Europe's elite came in for him.
However his club are keen to retain his services, and it is believed that the acquisition of Kevin Prince-Boateng was one concluded in the hope of getting the best out of the striker.
Manchester United had been linked with Draxler, but were significantly put off when Schalke stated that they would hold out for £60million for their wonder kid.
At the unveiling of Price-Boateng, following the Ghanian's £10million arrival from A.C Milan, Schalke general manager Horst Heldt said his club would have to be mad to let Draxler leave.
