Olympic superstar Usain Bolt has urged Manchester United boss David Moyes to sign a new central midfielder.

In an update on his Instagram account following United's 1-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday evening, Bolt demanded Moyes dip into the transfer market to strengthen his beloved Red Devils.

The Jamaican sprint star wants a new creative midfielder - one that can 'pass and create opportunities.'

It's a sentiment shared by many United fans around the world, although some remain baffled at Moyes's exclusion of former-Borussia Dortmund playmaker Shinji Kagawa from the match day squad at the weekend.

And the latest reports suggest Bolt could get his wish - with Sky Sports reporting United are ready to trigger Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera's €36m release clause.

Moyes had a £25m offer rejected earlier last week, but the report claims the United boss is ready to improve his offer for the 24-year-old central midfielder on deadline day.
