Take a deep breath - it's over. After three months of speculation, of rumours, denials, come and get me pleas and transfer requests the window shut at 11pm last night.

And it's been a record breaking summer. Gareth Bale has become the world's most expensive player, Premier League clubs have spent over £620m and Ligue 1 is now home to two of the world's best strikers.

So, the morning after the night before. GMS now takes stock of the whole summer 2013 transfer window - from Mario Gotze's Bundesliga jump all the way through to Bale's coronation at the Bernabeu.

Here, we count down the top 10 biggest transfer deals of the summer 2013 window - and by biggest we're talking about the most expensive.
