Annnnnd…breathe. The 2013 summer transfer window is now officially closed.

That's right, more frantic scrolling through Twitter to check if a "freelance" Dutch reporter has a dodgy-translation of a quote from a player linked with your team, no more "ITK's" and no more Jim White - and for that we can be eternally grateful.

With the dust settling on a typically hectic deadline day, just one question remains. Who pulled off the best transfer of the summer? Who landed the one player that no one thought they would get that will make their club infinitely stronger?

This list is bound to cause some controversy so to be clear, here's the criteria. Firstly loan deals weren't considered. Secondly a number of factors were taken into consideration including; value, form, and reputation. Only players that hit all these have made the cut.

Finally, and this can't be stressed enough, this list is final, definitive, and 100% right no matter what the comments say below…..
