Real Madrid are undeniably one of world football's most celebrated clubs. Boasting an incredible 32 La Liga titles, 18 Copa del Rey triumphs and nine European Cup wins, the club's consistent success is almost unrivalled.

Such impressive and sustained success inevitably yields a considerable reputation, and it is certainly safe to say that Real enjoy an incredibly high-profile across the globe. Such a healthy reputation has led to a number of the planet's most gifted footballers being unable to resist the allure of the Spanish capital, with this being particularly evident during the 'Galactico' era triumphed by current club president Florentino Perez. 

But despite Real's habit of hoarding talent, they certainly aren't afraid to offload gifted players either. Just yesterday, for example, Real fans were stunned as the club sanctioned the £42.5 million sale of German playmaker Mesut Ozil to Premier League side Arsenal.
