Premier League: Six-horse race for the title? (5)

Arsenal

Although many will disregard the Gunners as 'title-challengers' any longer in this current day, as explained, anything could be possible in this new dawn of change in the Premier League.

A consistent top-four side armed with some very talented players combined with uncertainty and change at clubs that finished above them last year, Arsenal might fancy more of a title-challenge this year.

Much will depend on new £42.4m signing Mesut Ozil and whether he can adjust to the demands of the Premier League, but anything's possible with a player who is already being touted as the next Dennis Bergkamp in your itinerary.

The only fear Arsenal might have is that beyond their first 11, which is very strong, they don't have a great deal to call upon off the bench.

A couple of key injuries, which we've already seen this season with Jack Wilshere and Lukas Podolski, will deplete the team significantly - something which wouldn't be the case at rivals Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and even now new challengers Spurs and Liverpool.

It is crucial that the Gunners also keep Olivier Giroud in form and fit as he is their only real out-and-out good enough striker on the books.
