Premier League: Six-horse race for the title? (7)

Despite finishing seventh last year and looking a little off the pace, early form this season coupled with some astute summer signings suggest this could be a very good campaign for Liverpool.

Brendan Rodgers is slowly and gradually re-establishing the club's rather tarnished reputation in recent years.

Arriving at the helm at the beginning of last season, although Rodger's couldn't move Liverpool up much in the table he has now got his side playing the football he wants and with the players he wants.

Philippe Coutinho excited everyone after his arrival in January and he has now been joined by fellow attacking players Luis Alberto, Iago Aspas and Victor Moses this summer. Add to that the in-form Daniel Sturridge and a certain Luis Suarez to come back from suspension and Liverpool look good, very good in fact.

Double this up with the acquisitions of goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, and defenders Mamadou Sakho, Aly Cissokho, Kolo Toure and Tiago Ilori and you could say that anything is possible from this Liverpool team this term.

Despite their best start to a league season in 19 years with three straight wins, one thing that potentially could concern the way Liverpool's season goes is Suarez's attitude to playing. In a tug of war transfer period where one week he was going and the next he was staying, will he come back and unsettle a what seems like at the moment close-knit bunch.
