The son of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has signed a one-year contract with Fulham after completing a month-long trial.
Jose Mario, or Mourinho Jnr, played for Canillas, Real Madrid's youth team, whilst his father managed the first team.
However, this time the 14-year-old goalkeeper has chosen to avoid his dad by joining west London neighbours Fulham rather than Chelsea.
The contract only allows for one season, the longest contract allowed to be offered to a foreign player of that age.
In the past, Mourinho has expressed his discontent when watching his son, as he complained of abuse his son received from opposition parents and players.
Now that Mourinho and his family are no longer an unknown quantity in London, perhaps Jose Mario can settle with the Cottagers and forge a professional career.
With a father like his, it will be hard for young Jose to do much without being compared to his elder namesake, but having already played for more than one top-flight professional academy, he'll surely not be short of practise.
