Gareth Bale has joined Real Madrid's fellow summer recruits in Carlo Ancelotti's Champions League squad.

The Los Blancos side haven't won Europe's elite competition since 2002, when the Bernabeu outfit beat German giants Bayer Leverkusen. The final of 02 will also be remembered for a remarkable Zinedine Zidane goal.

Madrid will be hoping to go one step closer to Champions League glory this term after they were beaten by Borussia Dortmund in last year's semi-final.

Madrid have been drawn a tricky group stage draw, as they will play Italian giants Juventus, Galatasaray and Copenhagen.

Fans of Madrid will hope Bale's arrival can help the club succeed in Europe this time around. Madrid begin their campaign away at Turkish outfit Galatasaray.

The full squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Casillas, Fernandez, Lopez.
Defenders: Varane, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao, Marcelo, Carvajal, Arbeloa, Nacho, Casado.
Midfielders: Khedira, Bale, Alonso, Casemiro, Modric, Di Maria, Isco, Illarramendi, Garcia.
Attackers: Ronaldo, Benzema, Rodriguez, Morata.
