Tottenham v Arsenal: Starting XI's rated (1)

Published 17 Comments

The respective fortunes of the two north London clubs dominated proceedings during the summer transfer window.

With the Gareth Bale "will-he, won't he" saga reaching it's inevitable conclusion, Spurs went about splashing some of the £86 million they would soon be receiving, and then some.

Arsenal meanwhile dilly-dallied and missed out on a host of striker targets before ultimately opting to shatter their transfer record with the £42.5 million signing of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid.

Irrespective of how most view the club's transfer activity, the fact is their squads are now set in stone, until January at the earliest.

Both teams are desperate for a top four finish and Champions League qualification - but who is now best equipped to do just that?

Well, there's only one way to find an answer to that question - here are the two north London giants and their starting XI's going head-to-head.
