Arsenal completed the £42.4m signing of Real Madrid and Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil to break their club record transfer fee by £27.4m on Monday. But what can Arsenal fans expect from the talented midfielder?
Ozil on his own footballing ability said: "My technique and feeling for the ball is the Turkish side to my game. The discipline, attitude and always-give-your-all is the German part."
Spanish football expert John Carlin spoke about Ozil's ability and told BBC Sport: "He's got a very quick football mind and is immensely skilful. He is one of those players who needs less time than other players. His exquisite touch gives him that extra fraction of a second to look up and see the gap and put the ball there for a goalscorer."
Ozil's new manager Arsene Wenger spoke of the German's ability and skill, and told the Arsenal official website: "He is a great player, with proven quality at both club and international level. We have watched and admired him for some time as he has all the attributes I look for in an Arsenal player.
"I have said throughout the summer that we have been working hard to bring in top quality players to this football club.
"This has involved many many people across the club and I have always had the full support of the club in making decisions on the football side."
It is clear that Mesut Ozil is a quality player and will bring a lot to Arsenal's game and will help there chances to contend in the Premier League, but unfortunately for Arsenal fans they will have to wait until the Sunderland game a week Saturday to see him in action.
Until then, here is a video to excite Arsenal and football fans alike.
