Every year the Premier League throws up a man that changes things for his team; a player steps up at the crucial moment and makes the difference when the defining moments come about.

Last season saw Robin van Persie continue his tremendous goalscoring form, much to the chagrin of his former club Arsenal, and fire Manchester United to their record 20th Premier League title.

Despite the irresistible form of Gareth Bale for Tottenham Hotspur, it was the Firing Dutchman at Old Trafford who was the real man of the moment and probably the decisive factor in where the title ended up.

GMS have taken up the task of trying to identify which stars could take up the 'RVP' mantle for the 2013/14 season and spur his respective club to glory come may (or even earlier).

We picked out the five teams we feel have the best chance of becoming Premier League champions and picked out one player that will be integral to his team fulfilling their potential and proving superior over 38 games.
