Tottenham Hotspur have set their transfer sights on French sensation Adrian Rabiot, according to reports.
Despite the summer transfer window closing just days ago, Spurs are already looking to the future, according to The Daily Express, with Andre Villas-Boas taking an interest in the 18-year-old midfielder.
The north London outfit were extremely busy in the summer, losing Gareth Bale for a world record fee but bringing Roberto Soldado, Paulinho, Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli to White Hart Lane.
And, Villas-Boas is looking to strengthen his squad further in the New Year, with Le10Sport claiming that Rabiot is a potentially excellent long-term addition for Tottenham Hotspur.
Capped at various youth levels for the France national team, Rabiot has broken into the first-team at the Parc des Princes, featuring three times off the bench in Ligue 1 this term and scoring a solitary goal.
However, PSG have a plethora of attacking talent at their disposal, and the youngster may struggle to feature regularly under Laurent Blanc.
That could work to Spurs’ advantage in the New Year, although the talented teenager certainly won’t come cheap.
