The hall of World Cup winners is a select group. Only eight nations have won the competition in 19 editions. Germany has three World Cup titles, and is only behind Brazil (5) and Italy (4).

Is 2014 the year that Germany is going to conquer another title and tie with Italy? Personally I think so.

Firstly, Germany has an experienced and mature coach in Joachim Low. He has trained the team in the last World Cup, and has done an incredible job so far. The German manages to take the best of his players, and is highly-rated in his country.

In addition to that, the national team has a large selection of the best players in the world. With the likes of Manuel Neuer, Phillip Lahm, Matt Hummels, Sami Khedira, Bastian Schwensteiger, Mesut Ozil, Toni Kroos, Marco Reus, Mario Götze, Thomas Müller, Julian Draxler and Mario Gomez, Germany are a top-class outfit.

It's unlikely that any other squad has the same power and quality in depth, and if a player is injured, they have a replacement ready made of the same level who can step in and do more than just a good job.

Among these international stars, one of the most important is Manuel Neuer. He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and is in a superb form for Bayern Munchen.

Not only does Germany have experienced players, but it is also bursting at the seems with young talent. Draxler, Götze and Reus are just some examples of really skill full wonderkids that are set to take the footballing world by storm and can change the outcome of matches with relative ease.

These players can grow a lot in the national squad, with the help of Lahm and co.

Another fact that can help Germany is Pep Guardiola's presence in Bayern. The Spaniard will undoubtedly teach a lot, and help players like Kroos and Götze in their improvement.

But most important is the fact that Germany are now ready to win the competition. After a failure in 2012 European Championships, Low's team has grown a lot. He established a secure defence, and a lethal offensive system. Besides that, players like Muller, Reus and Gotze are more mature and ready to challenge the biggest teams in the world.

There is no doubt whatsoever that Germany will be strong contenders next year, and for me it will be a surprise if they don't make the final.
