You can come out from behind the sofa - at least for now.

International duty can be a nervous time for fans of Premier League clubs, with star players giving their all and risking injury for their national teams.

A player injured on international can feel like daylight robbery for fans expecting to see their team returned as good as new for next week's fixtures.

This international duty upped the stakes as a number of Premier League clubs released their new signings to compete in FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Mesut Ozil was playing for Germany whilst Marouane Fellaini competed against a physical Scotland side.

Did they make it through unscathed or, better yet, did they inspire their team to victory?
