Chelsea will undoubtedly be in the market for new recruits this January, despite their summer spending spree which saw the likes of Samuel Eto'o and Willian make the move to Stamford Bridge.
Here, GMS Academy member Matt Brown looks at five possible candidates Chelsea may turn to as they bid to add yet nore firepower to Jose Mourinho's squad.
Who do you think the west London outfit should sign come January? As always, have your say in the comments box provided.
5. Christian Benteke
The Congo-born striker had an incredible debut season in the Premier League and has got off to a fine start this year too.
He is still young and has plenty to prove. Scoring 19 goals, including a hat-trick, will surely entice Jose Mourinho to secure the signature of yet another young and talented Belgian.
4. Stephan El Shaarawy
Many may recognise the Italian with his conspicuous anime-style hairdo. The AC Milan forward displayed some admirable performances in the first half of last season, however he did lose form after Mario Balotelli moved to the San Siro.
Heavily linked with a deadline day move to Manchester City, perhaps Chelsea could join the race for the player's signature when the window re-opens in 2014?
There is no denying the attacking prowess of Hulk and his determination to score is admirable.
He is the most likely to join the Blues out of all the players in this list after being heavy linked with Chelsea for the past two seasons.
He will also feel right at home as well, with Chelsea boasting a strong contingent of Brazilian internationals in their squad.
2. Luis Suarez
A little far-fetched perhaps, but given Chelsea's summer pursuit of Wayne Rooney, they're not afraid to try and sign one of the best player's from their rivals.
Suarez made it clear he wanted to move away from Anfield in the summer and could a move to west London tempt Suarez into pushing for a move once again come January?
1. Kevin Prince Boateng
Kevin Prince Boateng has dazzled fans and dizzied defenders. A constant cool on the field and a dangerous threat in the footballing world.
Fitting into Chelsea's attacking prowl, the megalithic back up of the midfield trio will guarantee plenty of opportunities for the Ghanian to score.
And what better way to return to the Premier League with Chelsea? Although he's recently moved to Schalke, the lure of top flight football in England with one of the biggest teams in the country would be too good an opportunity to miss.
