The one thing that is guaranteed to be more entertaining than this years summer is the 2013/2014 Barclays Premier League season, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup and other European competitions.

Before this season kicked off three of the top four teams in the English League came under new management. Manuel Pellegrini for the Citizens, David Moyes for the Red Devils and Jose Mourinho for the Blues.

Pellegrini has already succeeded as a manager, and could be that fine line that will separate the two Manchester clubs. This is not to say United will not win the league for 2013/2014. The players they have at their disposal could probably win the league without a manager, but unfortunately, due to legality, that will never happen.

The problem that United may face is Moyes inexperience in higher level of top flight football, such as competing in the Champions League.

The Premier league has the aforementioned clubs, including Arsenal Spain has Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Italy, AC and Inter Milan. Not to mention the newly mega rich clubs such as Paris Saint-Germaine and Monaco.

Taking on these teams may prove difficult for Moyes but the Premier League continuously delivers unpredictability – ironically, the only thing we can predict is unpredictability.

Another hurdle that The Reds will have to overcome is the return of the ‘Special One’ to Chelsea. The West London side have already been crowned favourites to win the league and no one can disclaim the notion as they were extremely indomitable the last time Jose Mourinho was in charge.

Mourinho has also proved that he can provide a more ‘entertaining’ style than his previous ‘boring’ technical play. With outstanding talent such as Eden Hazard, Juan Mata, David Luiz and Oscar, the ‘sexy’ football that Roberto Di Matteo incorporated may live o this season.
