Rotherham United boss Steve Evans has confirmed he will be looking to bring in some new players in the loan market, and hinted that someone could arrive from Manchester United, reports Sky Sports.

The League One outfit - who played against the reigning Premier League champions in a behind-closed-doors friendly last week - are hoping to utilise their blossoming partnership, by taking one or two of the Red Devils' promising young stars on loan for the 2013/14 campaign.

Evans spoke to David Moyes in detail, and said that he is happy to provide a platform for any emerging young talents with the opportunity for regular first-team football with the Millers, should they agree to leave Old Trafford.

"We might try to do business with them," the 50-year-old confirmed. "Their players are sought after, but David Moyes is well aware of our stadium and what the chairman has done here and he was impressed with us.

"The conversation developed quickly and very interestingly."

Rotherham have made an unbeaten start to the new season, and with the addition of a couple of new faces to aid the club's drive for promotion, Evans is confident of achieving all the goals set out at the start of the campaign.

"It will happen, 100 per cent," he said with regards to the chances of new arrivals. "It could be two, maybe three. We are working on a couple of things and are waiting for answers.

"We want to add some quality to our squad. I have to make sure if we are going to add players they are capable of displacing the players we have.

"I'd like to bring another wide player in and probably one more central midfielder but it has to be someone who adds something on top of what we have got and believe me we are good."

The emergency loan market opens on Tuesday, and with Football League clubs still able to sign players on short-term deals.
