Borussia Dortmund right-back Lukasz Piszczek is not interested in rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal in the January transfer window, according to talkSPORT.

The Poland international is fully focussed on returning to the Dortmund first-team after undergoing hip surgery.

Reports in Germany have linked Piszczek with a move to Arsenal but the Polish star is not paying any notice and just wants to work his way back into Jurgen Klopp's plans.

"Even though I have a little pain now and then, it is definitely much better than before the operation," Piszczek told German newspaper Bild.

"I am satisfied. My goal is to come back for the second half of the season.

"On the other hand, I will do nothing unnecessary to put myself under pressure after such a major operation."

Piszczek, 28, is under contract with last year's Bundesliga runners-up until 2017. But, according to talkSPORT, he remains one of Arsenal's top targets for the winter window.

Bacary Sagna is yet to agree a new contract with Arsenal, and the Poland international was reportedly lined up as a potential replacement.

Recent reports claim Sagna has been offered a new Gunners deal, and if he signs the club's interest in Piszczek may cool.
