Valencia CF have aided the careers of numerous world class footballers in the past, with names such as Juan Mata, Roberto Soldado, David Villa and Ruben Baraja just a few to have proved their class at the Mestalla.
The amount of high class talent at the club was arguably at its peak during the early 2000s when Valencia made the Champions League final twice in a row, where they were beaten by Real Madrid and Bayern Munich respectively.
However, the club could now have found a new star in Fernando Cano, a current youth team player.
The youngster, playing in a match against C.D. Ciudad Real, lined up a cross that was struck slightly behind him and caught the ball perfectly on the volley with a fantastic scissor kick.
Is this a flash-in-the-pan moment for the young player? Or are we witnessing the first steps of a potential football great? Make your own decision after you watch the above video.
