Van Persie's acrobatic effort accumulated 33% of the fans vote on Manchester United's official website - just 1% more than his second effort against Swansea, a thunderous effort from 20 yards.
Yet another goal from the game at the Liberty Stadium completes the top three- Danny Welbeck's sumptuous chip polled 30% of the votes on ManUtd.com.
Davide Petrucci and Jesse Lingard earned nominations for their goals with the U21's, and Sean Goss, Ruairi Croskery and James Wilson for the Under-18s.
