Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal - many of the best players play for these four clubs. But who are the best Premier League players outside of these clubs?
5. Yohan Cabaye – Newcastle
Allegedly attracting interest from Arsenal, PSG and Manchester United, Cabaye is a fantastic midfielder.
Good going forward and strong defensively, Cabaye is definitely one of the strongest players to play for one of the teams outside the top four.
4. Steven Gerrard – Liverpool
When you think of one-club wonders, Gerrard has to be up there with the best.
With his crunching tackles, cross-field passes and rocket shots, Gerrard will go down as one of the best in Premier League history.
3. Roberto Soldado – Tottenham
With a fantastic goalscoring record, Soldado broke Tottenham’s transfer fee record for the first but not last time during this summer's transfer window.
In my opinion he is a bargain at £26 million as Soldado should fit perfectly into the Premier League.
2. Luis Suarez – Liverpool
A very controversial figure in Premier League football, Suarez almost left Anfield over the summer.
Currently eight games into a ten match ban for biting, when Suarez returns to the starting 11 he will be a very important player for Liverpool this season.
1. Christian Benteke – Aston Villa
A powerful and a lethal striker, Benteke has the potential to be one of the best strikers in Europe.
Villa boss Paul Lambert has done exceptionally well to keep Benteke, but whether or not he will keep him once this season is up is another matter.
