Mario Balotelli is often in the news for his bad behaviour on the pitch and outrageous off field antics.

The 23-year-old Italian forward has been warned by Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky that he needs to 'calm down' on the pitch.

The Czech midfielder believes Ballotelli has plenty of potential and says he will improve even further if he changes his bad behaviour

"I know Balotelli pretty well. Mario has a lot of potential. However, he will be even better if he calms down a bit on a professional level," Rosicky told Tuttosport.

"Of course, his age plays a role in his behaviour, but he has already shown that he's a very interesting player at City and Milan."

The two players will be going head to head tonight in a World Cup qualification Group B clash.

Rosicky, 32, expressed how important tonight's game is for his Czech national side.

"Italy are very strong tactically and they have two superb strikers," added the midfielder.

"We are really looking forward to the game. It's our last chance and we cannot afford to lose."

Czech Republic are currently sitting third in Group B trailing leaders Italy by eight points and second-placed Bulgaria by one point. Rosicky's side still have a lot to play for as they take on Italy at the Juventus Stadium.

Italy will be going into the game as favourites as group leaders playing on home turf. Cesare Prandelli's side are close to clinching a spot in the 2014 World Cup.

The Italians need a win or draw against the Czech Republic alongside a Bulgaria loss to earn an automatic place in Brazil next summer.
