Just who is Samuel Eto'o, where has he played and what has he won? We take a look at the man and his history - will he be the man to reinvigorate Chelsea's attack?

Previously one of sport's highest earners, Eto'o is thought to have taken a drastic pay cut to sign for the Blues this year for an undisclosed fee.

There is no denying though that he is rich and he is a great footballer. Following stints at Barcelona where he scored over 100 goals in 5 years, and an arguably more impressive 53 goals in 2 years at Inter Milan, there is no denying he can score goals. Chelsea fans will be hoping he can make a similar start to his Chelsea campaign.

Eto'o's list of silverware (some gold) is endless, from Olympic Medals to pretty much every trophy going during his time in Spain. He's been African Player of the Year on several occasions and made over 100 appearances for Cameroon.

The big question now is can Eto'o still play at this level? Having spent a year at FC Anzhi Makhachkala which included 36 goals the question mark remains if he still has his touch and speed.

Chelsea play Aston Villa this weekend and it is unclear if Eto'o will feature following an eventful few days with Cameroon.
