In an interview with Russian newspaper Sport-Express, FC Dynamo Moscow manager Dan Petrescu has revealed that highly sought-after Ivory Coast striker Lacina Traore will join Italian champions Juventus in January.

The 6t 8in hitman was linked with moves to the Premier League this summer, following his current club Anzhi Makhachkala's financial problems that saw them offload a number of high-profile players, including Samuel Eto'o who joined Chelsea.

The Dynamo Moscow manager was asked whether his club would be approaching Traore, having previously worked with the striker at Kuban Kasnodar. He then responded: "I would love to, but we already have [enough strikers], and in January, Lacina will be a Juventus player".

Traore would join the likes of Carlos Tevez, Fernando Llorente and Mirko Vucinic up front for the Bianconeri, who got rid of Emanuele Giaccherini, Alessandro Matri and Nicholas Anelka in the summer.

The 23-year-old Ivory Coast international has scored 13 goals in 27 games for Anzhi, including a stunning goal against Liverpool in the UEFA Europa League in the 2011/12 season.

Anzhi Makhachkala have been forced to offload a large number of their highly-paid players because of their owner's recent financial problems. Samuel Eto'o, Willian and Yuri Zhirkov have already left the club this season.
