Frank Lampard will become the eighth man to gain 100 caps for England, but several Three Lions legends never made it to the milestone.
A list that includes World Cup winners Bobby Moore and Bobby Charlton, record appearance maker Peter Shilton and modern day idols such as David Beckham and Steven Gerrard, could have been even longer.
Over the years several England internationals could, and in some cases should, have added their name to this illustrious list.
