Chelsea starlet and England under-21 international, Nathaniel Chalobah, is yet to join a club on loan for the season ahead.
The 18-year-old has shown great promise as he's progressed through the Chelsea academy, and the midfielder, who can also play at the back, impressed last season on loan at Watford under Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola.
Chalobah has not been selected in Chelsea's Premier League squad and was expected to return to Vicarage Road until the end of this season, however, a dispute over pay has left Chalobah frustrated and without a team to play for.
The youngster recently signed a five year contract at Stamford Bridge and is now on £30,000-a-week. But Zola's club insist they want to pay a smaller percentage of his wages this season than they had previously been paying last campaign.
Chelsea have taken a firm stance and have not let the player join the Championship club, proof of the dispute between them.
Nottingham Forest and Wigan Athletic are reported to be interested in taking the Chelsea player on loan. Chalobah supposedly prefers to join a Premier League club in order to help acclimatise himself with the top flight.
Chalobah scored five goals in 42 appearances for Watford last season as they narrowly missed out on promotion and he will be desperate for Chelsea to strike a deal as soon as possible.
