Bookies have already started taking bets on who will be the first managerial casualty of the 2013/14 season.

Last year, it was Chelsea's Roberto Di Matteo who received the dreaded early sack, even after winning the Champions League for them just months earlier.

Promoted teams managers always face a difficult time in adjusting their teams and getting them ready for the rigours of the Premier League. However, some managers at the top teams are under just as much pressure to grind out results.
