Napoli are going to give Juan Camilo Zuniga an ultimatum deal when he returns from international duty, reports talkSPORT.com.
The versatile defender is being closely followed by Arsenal, and could be the subject of a January raid from the Gunners, but Napoli are aiming to rule that out by tying him down to a new deal.
Zuniga, who can also play in midfield is out of contract next June and Napoli do not want to risk losing him for nothing, but he has yet to agree a new deal in Italy.
Arsene Wenger is said to view the 27-year-old as a potential option, particularly if he forces Napoli into a January sale by refusing to agree a new deal.
Zuniga's agent has said he believes Arsenal will favour his client due to his versatility being a useful addition to their squad, which lacks great depth, but that's only if he rejects to £60,000 contract Napoli look set to put on the table.
