Four Manchester United upgrades (1)

They are the reigning Premier League champions, yet people have still been worried about Manchester United 's limited transfer window activity and there have already been grumblings over new manager David Moyes.

Criticism of transfer window happenings is probably reasonable considering the £27.5million capture of Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini was their only piece of major business. But it is more likely the raft of reports emerging claiming that yet another player tuned down the chance to move to Old Trafford.

Then there was the failed attempt to get a deal done for Atheltic Bilbao playmaker Ander Herrera - ok it was a pretty disastrous window. However, the team that won the league last season at a canter is still there and worries about quality may be a tad premature.

Nevertheless, there has been a lot of talk by Manchester United fans that there is not enough quality in the side and that they need to upgrade various areas of the squad if they are to fight off the challenges of Chelsea and Manchester City for the title this season.

So, in response to those concerns, GMS have decided to suggest 'upgrades' for the players that seem to attract much of the criticism and areas of the team that get stick for not being good enough.
