Former Liverpool boss, Rafael Benitez is the latest footballing personality to blast the amount paid for Gareth Bale.
Speaking to Italian newspaper, Mediaset, Benitez comments echoed that of former Real Madrid superstar, Zinedine Zidane who called the fee "incomprehensible" in the current economic climate.
The Spainard then compared the price of Bale to influential Napoli midfielder, Marek Hamsik, saying that the Slovakian international is priceless.
"Is Bale worth the 100 million euros Real Madrid paid for him? If so, then I'd say you can't put a price on Hamsik -- and he is not for sale," said Benitez.
Hamsik has been a key part of the Napoli side for years but with top scorers Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi having left in consecutive seasons to go Paris Saint-Germain his role has been highlighted even further.
He's long been linked with a move to a bigger club, with Manchester United and AC Milan supposedly interested but in August he signed a new long-term deal with Napoli and has said that he wishes to become 'Naopli's Totti'
Summer signing, and Cavani's replacement, Gonzalo Higuain has settled well in Naples so far but Napoli's good start can be attributed to their rotation policy according to Benitez.
"We have a big squad and instead of using 12, 13 players we'll rotate 19, 20," added the former Liverpool boss.
