Manchester United target Arturo Vidal has ruled out a January move to Old Trafford, and is reportedly close to agreeing a new deal with Juventus, according to talkSPORT.com.
Vidal has long been a rumoured target for the Red Devils, and with his contract up in 2016 it was thought that David Moyes could make a move for him in the January transfer window in order to bolster his attacking options.
The Chilean international was an integral member of the team that won Juventus the Serie A title for the last two seasons running, and has subsequently been linked with a number of big European clubs.
However the 26-year-old has refuted any claims that he is heading towards the exit door, maintaining that he is happy at the Turin club, and that it's ultimately where his future lies.
"Only a signature is needed. My family and I are happy here and do not want to go away," Vidal said.
Moyes will be keen to add to his squad at the next available opportunity, with numerous enquiries over the summer proving to be ultimately futile.
