The NBA announced a fourth consecutive competitive NBA game will be hosted by the O2 arena in London, between the Atlanta Hawks and the Brooklyn Nets.
Last years' showcase events was another huge success as the New York Nicks, inspired by Carmelo Anthony, managed a 102-87 win over the Detroit Pistons.
Both teams made the play-offs this year and the Knicks will be buoyed by the news that the legendary point-guard, Jason Kidd, has accepted an offer to be their new coach.
The NBA also announced that a similar game will be contested in Mexico City between the San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves in early December.
"With the addition of regular-season games in London and Mexico City, we will play one of the most comprehensive international games schedules in our history next season," NBA commissioner David Stern told reporters.
"Through these games we will bring the NBA experience to more fans and provide showcases for basketball and the extraordinary talent of our players."
English NBA fans will also get the chance to see another NBA match on home soil, as he Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the Philadelphia 76ers on October 8th at the Manchester Arena.
Benjamin Morel, NBA senior vice-president, added: "Following one of the most captivating seasons and Finals in recent times, we are thrilled to announce the fourth regular-season game in London featuring the Atlanta Hawks and Brooklyn Nets".
"Together with the game in Manchester in October, we look forward to be bringing four NBA teams to the UK for the 2013-14 season as we further showcase the excitement of our teams and players."
