The summer transfer window was a spending and selling spree for Tottenham.
The north London side have bagged seven new top class signings, and have still made profit after the selling of Jake Livermore, Scott Parker and, of course, the most expensive football player in the world, Gareth Bale.
Spurs' focus now is getting into the top four to qualify for the Champions League, and I have singled out four of the seven new players that can help them do that.
Chadli has shown a lot of promise for Belgium and for FC Twente. Now at Spurs, though, the winger should be able to improve and become one to watch in the upcoming years of the Premier League. He can cross the ball well and is good in front of goal, so it is only a matter of time before we see him rise to extremely high standards.
Because of all the promise and skill that Chadli shows, I truly believe that he can have a major impact on Spurs and on the Premier League.
Paulinho showed strength, ability and attacking power for his winning side Brazil in the Confederations Cup, and has shown the same in his first few games for Tottenham. The midfielder has adapted to play defensively and in attack and is very capable of scoring goals.
The reason I think he can seriously help Spurs to get that all important top four spot is because of his impressive technique and style that he has shown in the midfield. Alongside Mousa Dembele, he can cause some serious damage to the opposition.
Soldado, although a little older, is a goalscoring machine, bagging many goals for Spain and former club Valencia. So far this season for Spurs he has scored both in the Europa League and the Premier League.
Last season we saw a lack of goals between Jermaine Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor, but I believe Soldado can make up for that and we have already seen him start to do so.
The reason I think he can make such an impact on Spurs and on the Champions League is because of his capability and strength in front of goal, so if Spurs' other players can provide him with chances, don't be surprised to see him net the ball time and time again.
Lamela, the former Roma and Argentinian winger, has a tremendous amount of skill and is dangerous in front of goal. He's only young, and shows a lot of promise on the pitch, so once he gets used to Spurs' playing style, he should be a very big name in the Premier League.
Lamela will bring a lot of skill and quite possibly a few goals to Spurs' already very strong side, which is why I think he will play a big part in Spurs battle for a spot in the Champions League.
Overall, Spurs have made some crucial signings this season, the four I have explained above and Christian Eriksen, Vlad Chiriches and Etienne Capoue. These seven players alongside Spurs' other top players is a winning formula for me, and I don't think it'll be long before Spurs take the Premier League by storm.
