Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has thanked fans for their support after he made his debut for the club in Saturday's 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace. Belgian international Fellaini, who arrived at Old Trafford from Everton on transfer deadline day, came off the substitutes bench in the 62nd minute and claims he was helped by the positive reaction from supporters.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has warned his team against the perils of underestimating Viktoria Plzen. City face the Czech champions in the Champions League on Tuesday evening and the Chilean, who took the reins at the Etihad Stadium this summer, has insisted that it would be a huge mistake to not afford their opponents sufficient respect.

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel thinks that new signing Samuel Eto'o will adapt quickly to life at Stamford Bridge. Eto'o failed to find the back of the in his first appearance for the Blues during Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park. However Mikel was impressed with his teammate's performance and thinks Eto'o's experience will benefit him.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has described Mesut Ozil as a 'top quality player'. German international Ozil, who signed for the Gunners from Real Madrid on deadline day and made an impressive debut for the club in their 3-1 win over Sunderland this weekend. And Wilshere believes his new teammate has the quality to continue to cause big problems for opposing teams.

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas heaped praise on Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen following his debut for the club. 21-year-old Eriksen performed impressively during Tottenham's 2-0 win over Norwich on Saturday and Villas-Boas believes his new signing produced an excellent showing at White Hart Lane.

Barcelona star Cristian Tello believes his club have the best selection of attacking talent in the world. The Catalan giants, who boast Argentine star Lionel Messi, signed Neymar during the summer and Tello believes both he and his teammates are all working hard to prove their worth to manager Gerardo Martino.
