Manchester United will make another attempt to sign Leighton Baines in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The Red Devils were keen on landing the England full-back throughout the summer transfer window, and failed with a £28 million joint bid for him and Marouane Fellaini.
While the Toffees eventually relented and sold Fellaini for £27 million on deadline day they managed to keep hold of Baines, and were less than impressed with Manchester United's attempts to sign their two key players.
The Merseyside club branded Manchester United's initial joint-bid "insulting and derisory" before reportedly resisting when the Premier League champions split their offer to £15 million for Baines as the transfer window drew to a close.
Now according to Sunday Times journalist Duncan Castles, David Moyes is lining up another move for his former player when the winter window opens.
Although they failed with a last-gasp move for Real Madrid's Fabio Coentrao, but Castles, writing for One World Sports, says the Portuguese isn't Moyes's preferred option.
