Arsenal are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League and Jack Wilshere has praised the Gunners' team spirit for their successful start to this season's campaign.
It is only early into the season but Arsenal already look like contenders. The Gunners will be determined to put their eight-year trophy drought behind them and the feeling in the camp is that this year could be Arsenal's year.
Wilshere believes Arsenal owe their fine start to the 2013/14 campaign to the winning mentality developed when defeating fierce north London rivals Tottenham last season.
The 21-year-old midfielder told Arsenal player: "There was a mentality at the end of last season when we had to win games and get that fourth spot and we have carried that on into this season, especially away from home. We seem to play really well away from home and we can take that form into the home games."
Arsene Wenger's side have won their last nine away matches and with an early season victory at the Emirates against Spurs, Wilshere believes that the off-pitch camaraderie is starting to shine through.
The England international went on to say: "We all get on really well here - we have got a great set of lads. We have been together for four or five years, most of us. We are starting to build a real friendship and that is starting to show on the pitch."
Arsenal have hit the ground running and will look to extend their run of good form in this year's Premier League title race in their next fixture against Stoke City on September 22.
