WWE Night of Champions 2013 is really looking like a normal Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown - the card is weak and the results are very predictable, so how can WWE give us some surprises in this PPV that will make us viewers feel slightly more intrigued?
Well, first of all, they could have stuck with the theme of the PPV by having all titles on the line as it is the Night of Champions. Curtis Axel isn't defending his title against CM Punk simply because CM Punk is way better than that and will probably be thrown into a bigger feud after Night of Champions. Imagine CM Punk as a intercontinental champion...
Next there is the predictability of the matches - Dean Ambrose vs Dolph Ziggler for the United States Championship. Ziggler in a match for the United States Championship... lucky for him you can't face a member of The Shield without the other members interfering, so Ambrose to clearly retain.
Then the remaining members who helped Ambrose win by DQ will face the winners of the Tag Team Brawl on the pre-show - Prime Time Players is my bet. With The Shield as Randy Orton's bodyguards, why would they have the titles taken off them? They won't.
Alberto Del Rio vs Rob Van Damn - why is he involved in a title match? I'm sure these up-and-coming wrestlers are sick of seeing these old timers come back and stealing their title matches with top wrestlers.
Not to forget Damian Sandow and his Money In The Bank briefcase to cash in, although I doubt he will cash in tonight.
Del Rio retains after Ricardo Rodriguez befriends Rob Van Dam for his old friend Alberto Del Rio.
The big match on the card, the main event is WWE champion Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan for Orton's title.
Triple H runs in, screws Bryan of the win to lead to many more PPV matches between Orton and Bryan to waste some more time until the real face of the company - John Cena - returns and puts an end to this torment Triple H & Co. are dishing out to the fans.
One things for certain, Night of Champions is certainly not good for business, although I hope for WWE's sake they prove me wrong and make this a PPV to remember.
