David Moyes has a few injury doubts ahead of Manchester United's encounter with Bayer Leverkusen, yet that may work in his favour and take some pressure off him from fans who want to see certain players feature more or less often.
Nani is suspended for tonight's fixture so will not feature, likewise the long-term injury victim Darren Fletcher.
Danny Welbeck and Phil Jones are major doubts with knee and ankle problems respectively and missed training yesterday.
Shinji Kagawa may not play after picking up influenza in Japan, yet if he is fit to play he will want to and Moyes should recognise this against a structurally-sound team who Kagawa has experience playing against in his time in the Bundesliga.
Rafael is back after his Premier League suspension but may still be out with an injury.
Then the speed of the Leverkusen side needs to be addressed; Ferdinand among others may be rested this evening.
Javier Hernandez is likely to feature at some point tonight as Moyes may have one eye on United's Premier League encounter against Manchester City on Sunday.
My recommended line-up would be as follows:
De Gea; Rafael/Fabio, Vidic, Evans, Evra; Carrick, Fellaini; Valencia, Rooney, Kagawa; RVP.
