QPR defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto revealed he had pulled an all-nighter playing Grand Theft Auto V - just hours before a crucial clash with Brighton tonight.
The Cameroonian is on-loan to the club from Spurs but is unlikely to have won himself any favours with boss Harry Redknapp after he tweeted about his activity earlier on today.
"Im wake up since 1h! Thanks GTA 5! 😂 Hv a good day mate lol" He tweeted.
With both teams projected to be fighting for promotion and play-off places, QPR will need every point they can get and would love to deny points from Brighton but it might be the case that Assou-Ekotto's debut is delayed.
An IGN poll of 11,000 people revealed 46% had booked the release day as a holiday, while 19% said they would be calling in sick in order to enjoy the game.
With the game's budget bigger than most Hollywood movies, GTA V's launch has been nothing short of grand as it's projected to be one of the biggest selling games of all time.
