The quarterback hotseat (6)

Brandon Weeden - Cleveland Browns

Brandon Weeden was a late comer to the NFL and at 29, heading into his second season, you'd forgive Browns fans for wondering just who their next QB is going to be and how far is he away?

With young athletes like Trent Richardson at running back, Jordan Cameron at tight end and Josh Gordon at wide receiver, it seemed like the Browns were building towards a generational team but when Weeden was drafted and announced as starting QB, it raised more than a few eyebrows.

Two mediocre performances from the Browns offence has raised even more.

Weeden got hurt last week against the Ravens and while head coach, Rod Chudzinski hasn't ruled out any of the three QBs on the roster, Weeden's days under centre could be winding down, especially if they don't get going.

Jason Campbell is a veteran who can go in any offence and would be a great bridge for this season and next, while Browns GM, Mike Lombardi says Hoyer has starting quarterback qualities.
