Indianapolis Colts have traded their 2014 first-round draft pick to get Trent Richardson from the Cleveland Browns.

This week, the Colts have lost running-back Vick Ballard and tight-end Dwayne Allen for the season, which led to owner Jim Irsay promising a shock trade. It has happened and it definitely has shocked fans of the National Football League.

The Cleveland Browns drafted the former Alabama running-back at No.3 overall in the 2012 draft. He then went on to have a very successful rookie season, breaking the great Jim Brown's franchise rushing and touchdown records after rushing for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns.

However, the new men in charge, coach Rob Chudzinski and general manager Michael Lombardi, have decided he is no longer part of the Browns' plans as they apparently look to attempt to snag a star quarterback in next year's draft.

The Browns plan on bringing in Willis McGahee as a replacement later this week if he passes a physical.
