Cristiano Ronaldo believes a partnership between Gareth Bale and himself is already forming.
Tottenham's former star played a crucial role in three of Real Madrid's goals against Galatasaray on Tuesday after coming off of the bench in the second half.
There had been rumours of discontent in Cristiano Ronaldo's camp after Real Madrid surpassed his £80m record transfer fee to sign Bale.
After a video emerged of Ronaldo lunging in to some crunching tackles on Bale in training, it seemed tensions were running high between the pair.
However, Ronaldo has put an end to any rumours of discontent by saying that a formidable partnership between the pair is already forming.
He told reporters: "We're getting to know each other, Gareth is adapting and finding his rhythm as he had been inactive for a long time.
"Things are coming off for him and it's going well."
Ronaldo recently signed a mega contract deal, keeping him at the Bernabeu until 2018 and reportedly making him the highest paid footballer in the world.
He added that the perfect way to celebrate the deal would be to win the Champions League for Real Madrid.
It's almost impossible to celebrate my contract in a better way," he added.
"Real want to win their 10th Champions League title - it's our objective."
