Qatari side hit crossbar three times - in three seconds

Lekhwiya managed to pull off quite a feat during their 4-1 win against Lekhwiya on Wednesday in the second leg of their AFC Champions League quarter final tie.

2-0 down and struggling after 22 minutes, the Qatari outfit bombed forward once more. First off a shot from the right wing crashed against the woodwork, the follow-up header did exactly the same, and then the second rebound also hit the bar.

Yep, that's right, they somehow contrived to hit the bar three times in as many seconds. Once is forgivable, twice is strange but not unheard of, but three times?

It's a strange old world.
