The official Chelsea mobile app showed the wrong score after the Blues' 2-1 defeat to Basel in last night's Champions League clash.
Chelsea looked to extend their unbeaten Champions League home record as Oscar put the Blues on the front foot in the last few minutes of the second half.
Basel went on to clinch the win as Mohamed Salah and Marco Streller scored late in the game to leave Chelsea spectators shocked.
The excitement must have got too much for the Chelsea media team as the score on the app showed the final score reversed handing their club the 2-1 win.
The final result ruined Jose Mourinho's first Champions league comeback for Chelsea since his return to Stamford Bridge.
Depite the defeat the Blues boss remains confident that his side will qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League, despite their loss.
Speaking after the game the Portuguese managed expressed his feeling that Chelsea still all to play for in this seasons Champions League campaign. Mourinho said: "The objective of finishing in the top two in the group phase and to go to the next stage of the Champions League is an objective that is not lost - far from it.
