Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas will stay at the Bernabeu - despite being miserable, reports Goal.com.
The Spanish international has endured a nightmare year in Spain, having been replaced by Diego Lopez in the net.
And, on his comeback to the first-team in the Champions League in midweek, Casillas suffered yet another setback as he was forced off with injury after just 13 minutes.
Despite his problems at the Bernabeu it's not expected that the 32-year-old will try and force through a transfer in January, but may look for a move next summer if he fails to win back the No.1 position spot in Madrid.
With his long-term future unlikely to be resolved, Casillas will be hoping for a far better year than the one he has previously had.
The Spaniard will be hoping to return from injury in the near future and fight for his place in the side.
