Tottenham are plotting a January move for Basel midfielder Mohamed Salah - that's according to Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio.
The 21-year-old winger - who was the subject of a failed €8 million bid from Spurs in the summer - has already caught the eye this season after an impressive goalscoring display in Basel's 2-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
According to reports, the Swiss club are prepared to sell the tricky playmaker in June, though Andre Villas-Boas is looking to push through a deal when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Roma and Inter Milan are also interested in the Egyptian international, though it's the north London outfit who remain front-runners.
Tottenham are well aware of the threat that Salah poses after he scored against the White Hart Lane outfit last season in the Europa League.
And his exploits at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea on Wednesday night have only served to lift Salah's profile even further - and potentially his price tag too.
