There were only five red cards issued at the 1982 World Cup finals - and one of those was received by the world's best player, Diego Maradona.

The temperamental genius was playing in a high-profile Second Round match against Argentina's fierce rivals Brazil when the occasion clearly got a little too much for El Diego.

Maradona left Brazil's Joao Batista on the floor after a dreadful challenge, which probably deserved two red cards, let alone one.
