Udinese have insisted that Manchester City have not made a bid for their highly-rated starlet Piotr Zielinski, reports talkSPORT.
The Citizens had been linked with a move for the 19-year-old, however the Italian club's sporting director Cristiano Giaretta has dismissed claims that the midfielder will leave the club.
The youngster has already been capped by Poland and looks set to have an extremely bright future, however it now looks unlikely he will move to the Premier League in the near future.
When discussing the future of Zielinski, Giaretta told TMW: "Zielinski to the Premier League? Nothing true. There is no negotiation with any team."
City, under Manuel Pellegrini have had a mixed start to the season, with two wins in their opening four Premier League games, however the Sky Blues were victorious in Europe midweek.
Pellegrini is currently preparing his side for the highly anticipated Manchester derby which takes place this Sunday at the Etihad.
It will be the manager's first derby game against Manchester United since being appointed the Citizens' boss in the summer.
