Jens Lehmann might face a stint on the sidelines after picking up a painful ankle injury in Germany´s 4-2 victory over Costa Rica.

The Arsenal goalkeeper, who was beaten twice by former Derby, Manchester City and West Ham striker Paulo Wanchope, received treatment in the first half before getting taped during the break. The 36-year-old admitted he was uncertain about the extent of the injury.

"I twisted my ankle and I am in pain," Lehmann told PA Sport after the match. "I don´t know how bad it is. We will see."
